Gurpreet Singh Bhullar back in Amritsar as Police Commissioner
Just over three months after he was transferred, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar has again been posted as Police Commissioner, Amritsar city. He would replace Ranjit Singh Dhillon who has been shifted as DIG, Ferozepur Range.
Interestingly, Dhillon was posted as Amritsar Police Commissioner when Gurpreet Singh Bhullar was shifted out in an abrupt manner three months ago.
This is the sixth transfer of Police Commissioner in the past two and a half years. Before, Dhillon, Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Naunihal Singh (ADGP), Arunpal Singh and Jaskaran Singh remained Police Commissioners, albeit for shorter durations.
Bhullar is likely to join tomorrow.
