Students of Guru Amar Dass Adarsh Institute, Goindwal Sahib, held its annual prize distribution function on Tuesday. The students of the school presented a colourful cultural programme titled, ‘Colours of Life’.

The function was attended by the parents of the students and prominent personalities. Arvinder Pal Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Goindwal Sahib, was the chief guest at the function. The cultural programme was eloquently presented and the students were encouraged to enjoy the day and celebrate every aspect of life, joy and sorrow, relationships. The students who secured top positions were honoured with trophies presented by the chief guest, members of the management committee and the principal of the school. The chief guest lauded the school managing committee and principal Manisha Sood for providing quality education in this remote area. Principal Manisha Sood presented the school’s annual progress report. Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa, director of the institute, presented a vote of thanks.
