A large number of devotees from different parts of the country and abroad paid their homage to Baba Tara Singh and Baba Charan Singh, the founders of Kar Seva sect, Sarhali, on the occasion of their annual congregation organised on Wednesday at Gurdwara Gurpuri Sahib, Sohawa (Sarhali).

Representatives from different sects of the Sikhs and Sikh scholars interacted with the Sangat and appreciated the selfless service of Baba Tara Singh and Baba Charan Singh in the social and religious field by way of establishing educational and medical institutions.

The speakers lauded the services of Baba Sukha Singh during the floods of 2023 in the Beas and Sutlej rivers which caused great loss to the farmers. The sect helped the affected farmers by providing them with seeds and fertilisers free of cost.
