The Indian Academy of Fine Arts (IAFA), Amritsar, opened its 11th edition of the State Exhibition of Arts 2025, open till April 16, on Monday.

IAFA general secretary Dr P S Grover said the state-level exhibition features 225 art works by 168 artists from across the state. “We have covered various genres of art in the exhibition, including painting, drawing, digital art, sculpture, graphics and photography. The exhibition has attempted to highlight upcoming talent from region and also focus on the quality of art work going on in the state,” he said.

Mayor Jatinder Singh Moti Bhatia and IAFA president Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina were the guests of honour.

On the occasion, the bhangra and giddha teams from Khalsa College performed.
