IIM enters final of Tata quiz

IIM Amritsar hosted the prestigious Tata Crucible Quiz, India’s largest and the highest-rated business quiz, for college students. In the zonal round held in Delhi on Sunday, IIM Amritsar emerged the first runner-up. Now, Sebin John Michael and Aditya Gurjar will play national finals to be held later on.
A total of 104 teams participated in the quiz. Earlier, the teams from IIM Amritsar, Guru Nanak Dev University, and Global Institute reached the finals in the regional category.
IIM Amritsar emerged as the winner with Sebin John Michael and Aditya Gurjar and pocketed a cash prize of Rs 75,000. Akash Rai and Pratik Salve of IIM Amritsar emerged as the first runners-up and were awarded a cash prize of Rs 35,000.
Prof Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director, IIM Amritsar, said the Tata group had been organising the Tata Crucible Business Quiz annually for corporates and campus students to ignite young minds to think out of the box and engage them in a highly enriching and enthralling battle of wits. The 2020 edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz continues to seek active participation from full-time students of business schools, engineering and graduate colleges, including college students from all disciplines, across India.
