IIT-Ropar Technology & Innovation Foundation (iHub–AWaDH) has signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government Polytechnic College Bhikhiwind, Tarn Taran, for the establishment of a Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Lab under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) on Friday. Khemkaran MLA Sarwan Singh Dhun was also present on the occasion.

The upcoming CPS Lab will serve as a state-of-the-art facility equipped with cutting-edge Internet of Things (IoT) devices, smart sensors and industry-grade experimental kits. It will enable students and faculty to engage in over 100 real-world experiments in areas such as smart automation, intelligent systems and Industry 4.0 technologies. This initiative aims to build capacity in emerging technologies, promote innovation and enhance employability in rural and semi-urban regions.

From AWaDH, Dr Pushpendra P Singh, Project Director; Dr Radhika Trikha, Chief Executive Officer; and Parry Sood, Programme Manager, continue to strengthen industry-academia partnerships and promote hands-on learning through deep-tech innovation.
