Dr Surinder Kumar, district president of the association, while addressing the medical officers sitting on dharna, flayed the state government for not accepting their genuine demands. He termed the demands on security and ACPs as non-negotiable.

He said that the cabinet sub-committee, while agreeing that the demands were legitimate in principle, unanimously approved the restoration of the stalled ACPs to the PCMS cadre and unconditionally agreed for its implementation in a time-bound manner.
