IndiGo resumes direct flights to Lucknow from Amritsar

The IndiGo has resumed its Lucknow-Amritsar direct flight after two months. The flight was suspended since December 31, 2023, as the airline was facing engine issues in many of its Airbus aircrafts.

With resumption of the flight, IndiGo is now operating two daily flights between Amritsar and Srinagar.

Yogesh Kamra, convener India for the FlyAmritsar Initiative, said the same aircraft departs for Srinagar from Amritsar. As per schedule, flight from Lucknow departs at 7:15 am and arrives in Amritsar at 8:50 am. The same flight departs from Amritsar for Srinagar at 9:25 am. The flight arrives in Srinagar at 10:15 am.

It departs from Srinagar at 10:45 am and arrives in Amritsar at 11:45 am. After a 30 minute layover, the same flight departs for Lucknow at 12:15 pm. It reaches Lucknow at 1:45 pm.

The airline also operates Bengaluru-Amritsar-Srinagar flight with a halt at the holy city’s airport. The same aircraft after landing in Amritsar departs for Srinagar and then returns on the same route. This second daily flight from Amritsar departs at 1:20 pm and reaches Srinagar at 2:10 pm. From Srinagar, it takes off at 2:45 pm and reaches Amritsar at 3:40 pm.
