Job camp for operators at e-vehicle suvidha kendras

The District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises in collaboration with Vikray Retail Ventures Private Ltd. will organise an employment camp for those who aspire to operate e-Vahan Suvidha Kendras (Pollution Control Kendras) on June 24.

In this self-employment camp, aspiring candidates should be domicile of Punjab between the age group of 18 and 35 years and educational qualification should be at least Class XII.

Elaborating this here on Wednesday, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh (Urban Development) said an applicant was required to invest a total of Rs 5 lakh for the scheme. Half of the amount will be invested by the company and the remaining by the applicant himself.

Punjab domicile

For setting up e-Vahan Suwidha Kendra, the company will provide machinery, computer, licence fee, printer, branding pack. Before this, training would also be provided to identified candidates. These centres will provide services such as vehicle pollution checking, vehicle insurance, roadside assistant, FASTag, waterless vehicle washing and others will be provided.
