Even after the filing of nomination papers by the candidates, efforts are being made in some villages to elect panchayats unanimously. In one such effort, gram panchayat Kadrabad Khurd elected its representatives unanimously.

Rising above factionalism and political rivalry at the village level, the residents of Kadrabad Khurd village unanimously elected a new gram panchayat with Amarjit Kaur as Sarpanch and Nirmal Kaur, Amarjit Kaur, Satwinder Kaur, Harjit Kaur and Amandeep Singh as elected members.

On the occasion, Jagwinder Pal Singh Jagga Majithia, in-charge of Halqa Majitha of AAP, congratulated the newly elected Sarpanch and panchayat members. He stated that with the efforts of Darshan Singh Fauji, Master Balwinder Singh, Bakhshish Singh and Captain Massa Singh, the unanimous decision has been taken.
