KVK to organise Kisan Mela on September 3

A Kisan Mela to disseminate information and seeds of new varieties would be organised at Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Nag Kalan village near here on September 3. The event would be held in association with Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) where experts from various fields would remain present to guide farmers.
KVK officials said various divisions of PAU, agriculture department, fisheries, dairy farming and other allied sciences along with progressive farmers and private companies would set up their stalls to educate farmers about the new techniques.
