The 46th Annual installation ceremony of District (321-D) of the Lions Club was held here today.

The newly appointed international president for the year 2025-26, Lion AP Singh, presided over the function as the chief guest.

A large number of delegates from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K participated in the event. Rajiv Vig and JB Singh Chaudhary welcomed the dignitaries. The ceremony was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

Lions Clubs of Batala informed international president Lion AP Singh about the 14 permanent projects being run for the service of humanity. Later, Sangeeta Jatia provided detailed guidance to the dignitaries to make sure the entire District 321-D can work in unity and take the district to greater heights.

AP Singh said “Lions Clubs International is one of the most renowned social service organisations in the world, running countless projects for the welfare of those in need,” he said.
