Lok Adalat to be held in Tarn Taran on September 13
On the directions of the National Legal Services Authority, the third National Lok Adalat will be held in Tarn Taran on September 13.
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Shilpa, informed on Monday that District and Sessions Judge Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa, who also serves as Chairman of the DLSA, will preside over the proceedings.
CJM Shilpa further stated that the judicial department has launched a public awareness campaign encouraging citizens to bring their cases to the Lok Adalat. She emphasised that Lok Adalats not only save valuable time but also reduce litigation expenses for the public.
