The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) has announced that a National Lok Adalat will be held on September 14 at district and sub-divisional courts in this city to assist litigants in receiving prompt and cost-effective justice.
Rachpal Singh, Civil Judge Senior Division-cum-Secretary DLSA, stated that Lok Adalats are held under the alternate dispute redressal system wherein cases are settled amicably. He added that cases pertaining to marital dissolution, cheque bounce, bankruptcy, insurance claim, motor vehicle accident, property dispute, electricity and water bills and others can be brought before the Lok Adalat Benches.
