An unidentified person died after being hit by a train near Bhagtanwala railway station on Monday. ASI Manjit Singh, in-charge of the local post of the Government Railway Police (GRP), said that the deceased, aged around 35-40 years, was bald and thin in body. The GRP has registered a case under section 194 of the BNSS. The body of the deceased has been kept in the morgue of the local civil hospital for identification.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
