Man kills brother over Rs 1,500

In a shocking incident, a man stabbed his brother to death over a monetary dispute in the Mohkampura area here on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Vishal. The police have registered a case and launched a probe.
According to information, both brothers were rendered unemployed by the Covid-induced lockdown. Sikander had lent Rs1,500 to Vishal and had been demanding the money back. In the past 15 days, the brothers had altercations on multiple occasions. On Sunday, they again quarreled over the issue and during the dispute, Sikander repeatedly stabbed Vishal with a sharp weapon. Vishal died on the spot.
