Martyrdom Day of Char Sahibzaade observed at Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary School, Amritsar

Amritsar: With a motive to create awareness on the heroic deeds, unparalleled valor and supreme sacrifices made by the revered sons called Char Sahibzaadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh and about sacrifice made by Mata Gujri, Chief Khalsa Diwan Dharam Parchar Committee organised a programme in Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary School, GT Road, at Sri Kalghidhar Sahib auditorium. Poem recitation, lectures and light and sound show dedicated to the great martyrdom of Sahibzadas were presented at the event. CKD President Nirmal Singh, while paying tribute to the Char Sahibzadas, inspired students to follow the ideals set by the Sahibzadas and to be courageous, brave and to stand by their faith strongly . He shared information that martyrdom of Char Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri would be observed throughout Poh month in all CKD schools. TNS

Student gets placed

Akash Patial, a pass out student of B.Sc. (IT) of 2021 batch of DAV College has been selected for the post of System and Application Service Associate with a salary package of 3.35 LPA by the reputed IT company Accenture. Congratulating the faculty, Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar extended best wishes to the selected student and further stated that he cleared various online rounds such as aptitude, reasoning and communication skills conducted by the company. Adding to it, he also stated that Akash had also been selected by BYJU for the post of Business Development Associate with salary package of 3 LPA.
