A minor girl, who was playing on the rooftop of her house, was molested by a mason on Sunday. The accused was working at the victim’s neighbour’s house.

He was identified as Kishori Das of local Bijli Ghar, Focal Point. He was constructing building of the neighbouring house. The victim brought the matter to the notice of her father. Sub-Inspector Baljit Kaur said on the basis of the statement of the victim’s father, a case was registered against the accused who managed to flee from the spot.
