During the interaction, the MC Commissioner announced that Ward No. 4 has been designated as a model ward, which will be developed into a completely garbage-free zone. He said that with the cooperation of residents and Resident Welfare Associations, door-to-door segregation of waste would be ensured so that wet and dry waste can be collected separately through designated vehicles.

The MC Commissioner said vehicles for daily waste collection have already been deployed in the ward. He urged residents to actively cooperate with the municipal corporation in making the city garbage-free and encouraged households to adopt composting practices within their homes.
