Meritorious kids honoured

Meritorious students of Khalsa College Senior Secondary School under the Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) were on Thursday honoured for their academic success in the recently declared PSEB Class X results.

School Principal Dr Inderjit Singh Gogoani and other faculty members encouraged the students to continue with the hard work.

Gogoani said this year 265 students appeared for the board examination and the result of the school was 100 per cent. Jashan Preet Singh topped the school with 93 per cent marks and many students scored more than 90 per cent.

In a similar ceremony, meritorious students of Khalsa College Girls Senior Secondary School were also honoured and offered scholarships for their good result.
