Migrant stabbed, robbed of Rs10,000

A migrant was stabbed and robbed by three unknown persons near Pandori Lubana village here Thursday evening. The victim was identified as Mithun, alias Mithu, of Bihar. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The police have registered an FIR on the statement of his friend Parmod Sharma.

Sharma stated to the police that on Thursday evening he gave Rs 10,000 to his friend Mithun and went away for work. He said at around 8:30 pm he got a call that Mithun was going to his quarter and reached near Pandori Lubana village when three unknown persons tried to snatch money from him.

As he resisted their attempt the suspects stabbed him and took away the cash.

The police have registered a case under Sections 394 and 34 of the IPC against unknown persons and launched further investigations in this connection.
