Minister assures Bar Assn of new elevators

Members of the Amritsar Bar Association met Public Works Department Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO and raised the issue of defunct elevators.

Gurpreet Singh Panesar, president of the Amritsar Bar Association, said elevators at the judicial complex were lying defunct. He said the minister assured that two new elevators would be installed at the judicial complex. “This will improve infrastructure and ensure better facilities for lawyers,” said Panesar, adding that the minister agreed to convert electricity tariff for lawyer’ chambers from commercial to residential.
