Power and Public Works Department Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO visited the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Jandiala Guru here on Thursday. During his visit, he interacted with patients and reviewed the arrangements for providing medical services.

On the occasion, the medical staff informed the minister that on an average, the clinic caters to the needs of more than 3,000 patients. “The clinic is also providing free check-ups, tests and medicines,” said doctors.

Attributing the clinic’s success to the state government, the minister claimed that patients were now preferring Aam Aadmi Clinics over private hospitals. ETO said that all five clinics in the Jandiala Guru constituency were proving to be a boon for patients.

During his visit, the minister inspected clinic’s facilities, including the medical store, and inquired about the well-being of patients. He said the clinic provides high-priced antibiotics and other expensive medicines to needy patients free of charge.
