Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO today visited the residence of Jugraj Singh, a soldier in the Army, at his residence in Jabowal village, which falls in his Jandiala Guru constituency. The minister also reviewed the progress of the sewage treatment plant (STP) being built in Jandiala Guru at a cost of Rs 25 crore.

Expressing sympathy with the family of the martyred soldier, the minister said the government was deeply saddened by the passing away of a soldier. Condoling the death, he expressed his sympathy with the father of the martyr, Nirmal Singh, who had retired from the Army. He assured the martyr’s father that the Punjab government stands with the family.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet Minister reviewed the progress of the sewage treatment plant being built at a cost of Rs 25 crore and directed officials to complete it within 18 months.
