Khadoor Sahib MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura, on Sunday, met with the sarpanches from Bugha village and surrounding areas, urging them to prioritise development projects that address the problems faced by villagers. The meeting, attended by village elders, focused on the need for improvements in local infrastructure and services.

Lalpura said the next two years are crucial for the region, as the state government has outlined special plans for the overall development of rural areas, particularly the backward villages. He emphasised all committed development works must be given priority to enhance beauty and functionality.

During the meeting, residents’ grievances were heard and relevant department officials were instructed to resolve the problems promptly. Lalpura also visited several villages, including Bhaini Mattuanan, Gorkha and Walipur, to assess the progress of ongoing development projects. He was accompanied by party workers and sarpanches of the area during his visits.
