MLA from Amritsar Central Vidhan Sabha constituency Dr Ajay Gupta today inaugurated the installation of a new tube-well in Ward number 61, Katra Karam Singh. MLA Gupta said that the people of the area were facing a shortage of drinking water. He said a tube-well will be sunk in the locality at a cost of Rs 15 lakh with which the problem of drinking water in Gali Teli Panna and Gali Jhandawali will end. He said all basic facilities will be provided to the people of Central Assembly constituency.
The MLA said that three more new tube-wells will be installed in the Amritsar Central Assembly constituency in the coming days. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government was worried about the problems of commoners and was making efforts to solve them. He said that road construction work will also be started after the rains. Those present on the occasion included Surjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Rishi Kapoor, Rajini, Mandeep Singh Monga, Sanpreet Bhatia, Vimal Bhatti, Ritesh Kumar and Municipal Corporation officials, among others.
