Amandeep Group of Hospitals celebrated National Cleft Day on February 8 to celebrate 8,000 Plus cleft patients, who have been successfully treated and now lead a normal life.

Dr Ravi Mahajan said, “Amandeep Group of Hospitals is working to restore normalcy in the lives of cleft-affected children and their parents. The hospital has treated more than 8,000 cases since 2004.”

The cleft can be anywhere around the face. It is mostly around the lips. We have a complete team including nutritionist, physiotherapist, plastic surgeon, speech therapist, dentist and paediatrician to treat the cleft in kids.”

Dr Amandeep Kaur, Director, AHPL, said, “The vision is to provide a proper and complete care for those who have financial concerns.”

The hospital group has six branches, with two located in Amritsar and one each in Pathankot, Ferozepur, Srinagar and Tarn Taran.
