Amritsar, December 16
Three National Defence Academy( NDA) passouts interacted with the students of Nishan-e-Sikhi Charitable Trust on Monday. The three cadets—Abhayjit Singh Brar, Dapinder Deep Singh Gill and Ameenjot Singh— also shared their success mantras with the NDA aspirants. They took coaching from the Nishan-e-Sikhi Charitable Trust being run under the patronage of Baba Sewa Singh of Kar Seva sect Khadoor Sahib,
The educational institutions being run by the sect are proving beneficial for the students from rural and border belt areas as many of them find employment opportunities in the armed forces. Earlier, the sect had organised a special coaching programme for girls from the area who aspired to join the BSF.
In-charge of the NDA wing at educational trust Brigadier (retired) GS Randhawa said, “ It fills me with pride that the three students are sharing their experiences with aspirants. Their coming here will motivate the students.” — TNS
