Negligence would not be tolerated: MLA to officials

MLA Dr Ajay Gupta from the Central Assembly constituency held a meeting with newly appointed councillors, volunteers, and officials of the municipal corporation to discuss various development issues in the constituency.

During the meeting, Dr Gupta emphasised the importance of completing development projects within the stipulated timeframe. He said negligence in development works would not be tolerated in any ward of the Central Assembly constituency.

To address the issue of clogged sewerage systems, Dr Gupta announced that a work order worth Rs 50 lakh has been issued for sewerage de-silting. He directed officials to start de-silting work immediately in areas where the sewerage system is not working properly.

The meeting also discussed the installation of new street lights in the constituency. Dr Gupta instructed officials to complete the tender process as soon as possible and install lights immediately, especially in walled city areas.
