It is pertinent to mention here that the posts of both DEO (Elementary) and DEO (Secondary) was lying vacant which had affected routine work.

In the recent reshuffle, though the posts of District Education Officer in both elementary and secondary departments have been filled, the posts of Deputy District Education Officer are yet to be filled. Official sources said that the posts were lying vacant as departmental promotions were being delayed again and again.
