Police jawans also presented him a guard of honour before he joined his duties.

“A citizen should consider himself a cop in the civil dress while the policemen should consider themselves a civilian in police uniform. This would help in having better cooperation and coordination between police and public and deterrent against criminal elements,” he pointed out.
