NSO holds training camp

The National Statistical Office (NSO) organised a training session for employees who would be participating in the upcoming sample survey on domestic tourism expenditure starting from January 2020.
Speaking on the occasion, joint director Jallandhar region Anil Phulwani said, the survey would help manage domestic tourism and find ways to promote it. He said sample survey would focus on expenditure preferences and preferred tourism places.
He said the sample surveys helped government formulate long run policies and all the people involved in data collection were expected to take their work seriously.
