Pakistan national repatriated
Amritsar: A Pakistan national was apprehended by the BSF near border fence. Later, he was handed over back to Pakistan Rangers. The BSF official said the man had crossed over to the Indian territory inadvertently on August 21, but nothing objectionable was found from his possession. The BSF approached Pakistan Rangers and sent the man back on humanitarian grounds. During this year, nine persons from Pakistan had inadvertently crossed the border, who were later handed over to Pakistan Rangers as a goodwill gesture.
