The 462nd birth anniversary of fifth Sikh Guru Sri Arjan Dev was celebrated with great religious fervour at the local Darbar Sahib on Sunday. The devotees started visiting Darbar Sahib since early in the morning. The bhog of Sri Akhand Path was performed followed by the reciting of path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib. A religious gathering was organised at Kath Asthan, Darbar Sahib, which was attended by thousands of devotees from for off places and surrounding villages. The reputed ragi jathas of Bhai Harvinder Singh, Bhai Sandeep Singh, Bhai Nishan Singh, Bhai Satbnam Singh and others recited Gurbani Kirtan with the Sangat. Singh Sahib Giani Jaswant Singh, Katha Wachak, talked of the preaching of Gurus.

Bhai Dharwinder Singh Manochahal, manager of Darbar Sahib, said that all possible arrangements were made to ensure a smooth visit for devotees.
