Dr Gurdas Sekhon is prez of local unit

The election for the local unit Punjab and Chandigarh College Teachers’ Union (PCCTU), DAV College, was held on March 12 for the session 2021-22. Dr Gurdas Sekhon has been elected unit president, Prof Gurjeet Singh Sidhu as vice president, Dr Munish Gupta as secretary, Punnet Sharma as joint secretary and Prof Rajesh Mittu as the finance secretary. Dr Daizy Sharma has been elected as member, local managing committee. Five executive members have also been elected, which includes professors Vikram Sharma, Prof Ullas Chopra, Prof Vikram Chaudhry, Prof Vikas Behal and Kapil Goyal.
