Police raid 2 restaurants
Amritsar, August 6
The city police conducted raids at two restaurants in the posh Ranjit Avenue locality and arrested around 10 persons here on Saturday. Separate cases have been registered at the Ranjit Avenue police station here.
Amandeep Singh, in-charge, CIA staff, said there were specific inputs that restaurants were offering hookah to youth. Following this, raids were conducted and around 10 persons were taken into custody. The police have registered cases under the Tobacco Act and further investigations were in progress.
