Amritsar Improvement Trust Chairman and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in-charge for the North Assembly constituency, Karamjit Singh Rintu, on Thursday inaugurated premix work on the 88-feet main road.
Addressing mediapersons, Rintu said development works in the North Assembly segment had gained new momentum, adding no project would be left incomplete. He announced all damaged roads in the North constituency would be repaired within the next month. He added work on the development of Green Avenue, Basant Avenue, Shastri Nagar, Joshi Colony and Circular Road would begin shortly. Once completed, these projects are expected to enhance connectivity and boost commercial activity in the area.
Rintu said continuous approvals were being granted for the upgradation of basic amenities across the North constituency to ensure that residents receive all civic facilities without difficulty. He emphasised there was no shortage of funds for development projects and public grievances were being addressed on priority.
Highlighting the state government’s commitment to transparent and people-centric governance, Rintu said efforts were being made to ensure that the benefits of government schemes and policies reach the grassroots level. Municipal Councillor Gulzar Bittu, Anek Singh, AAP volunteers and local residents were also present at the inauguration.
