PSEB Class XII results: Six students make it to Punjab merit list

Six students — three boys and three girls — have got a place in the state merit list in the Class XII Punjab School Education Board exams, the results of which were declared yesterday.
Two students are from government schools and four from private schools.
Three students are from Baba Gurmukh Singh Uttam Singh Senior Secondary School, Khadoor Sahib, which is managed by the Khadoor Sahib Kar Sewa sect, run by environmentalist Baba Sewa Singh.
These students are Jaspreet Singh, Sauravdeep Singh and Komlpreet Kaur. Baba Sewa Singh blessed the students and advised them to work hard.
Prabhsimran Singh Ahluwalia, who got seventh place in the state merit list, is a student of local Government Senior Secondary School. He bagged second position in the district.
He secured 491 (98.2 per cent) marks out of total 500. He is preparing for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and wants to become an IAS officer.
His mother Ravinder Kaur Ahluwalia is Principal of local SGAD Government Girls Senior Secondary School and father Baljit Singh Ahluwalia a biochemist. His elder sister is doing MBBS.
Kirandeep Kaur of Guru Amar Das Senior Secondary School, Goindwal Sahib, and Rosme Sandhu of Nih Kalank Government Girls Senior School, Gharyala, also secured a place in the state merit list.
Prabhsimran wants to become IAS officer
