Around eight armed persons looted a brick kiln in Sathiala here on the intervening night of January 25-26. They decamped with batteries of nine tractors, LCD, Rs 12,000 cash, three mobile phones, a bike and two inverter batteries, 800 meter copper wire and two LPG cylinders from there.

HSP Brick Kiln owner Harpal Singh of Chhapianwali village told the police that around eight masked persons armed with pistols entered the kiln and detained them in a room at gunpoint. He said they later decamped with the goods while threatening to kill them. A case has been registered.
