Addressing the students, SDM Panthey emphasised that burning crop residue destroys soil fertility and pollutes the environment.

He urged the students to be responsible citizens by fulfilling their duties toward society. He also administered a pledge encouraging them to refrain from stubble burning and to motivate their parents, if they are farmers, to do the same.

The Sub-Divisional Magistrate further announced that he has directed all Block Development and Panchayat Officers (BDPOs) to display important public information, such as details about farmer crop compensation, local health facilities and police contact numbers, on village notice boards to improve accessibility for residents.
