Tarn Taran: On the 132nd birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru, the police in collaboration of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), organised a road safety seminar in Patti. Hrithik Arora, general secretary, National Students’ Union of India, urged the social organisations to come forward to create traffic awareness. He asked them to paste reflectors on vehicles to avoid accidents in the winter. He also distributed 100 helmets to the needy. Traffic police incharge Kulwinder and Assistant Sub-Inspector Jassa Singh gave information regarding the road safety norms. — OC
