Seminar on teachings of Guru Ram Das organised

The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) on the 450 anniversary of the Jyoti Jyot divas of third Sikh Guru Sri Guru Amar Das and on the 450 year of the Gurta Gaddi Divas of the Fourth Sikh Guru Ram Das a seminar was organised by the Dharam Prachar Committee of the SGPC at Sri Guru Anged Dev College, Khadoor Sahib on Thursday.

The seminar was attended by the students and the residents of the area in a big number. Giani Parwinderpal Singh, Head Granthi Sri Harmandir Sahib, Padam Sri Baba Sewa Singh, Head of Kar Sewa sect Khadoor Sahib, Rajinder Singh Mehta Secretary SGPC, balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Giani Mehtab Singh, Dr. Amarajit Singh Sikh scholar from GNDU, Dr. Inderjit Singh Gogoani Principal Khalsa College Senior Secondary School were among the others who addressed on the occasion and presented their research papers on the subject of “ Sri Guru Amar Das- Life and Bani (creation).

The scholars called the Sikhs to be aware of the Sikh history at the time when we are witnessing the historic days of our Gurus. Rajinder Singh Mehta said that on the occasion when the SGPC was celebrating the historic days. The scholars were honoured of th occasion.
