Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has sought a detailed report from the Deputy Commissioner pertaining to tall buildings being constructed in areas near the Golden Temple.

The Speaker has asked the Deputy Commissioner to investigate the facts thoroughly and explain the present situation. He also asked the DC to explain under what rules were these constructions undertaken and which authority granted permission for the construction of such tall buildings near the shrine.
