Tarn Taran: Second assailant arrested in six-month-old murder case

The Anti-Gangster Task force (AGTF), following forward and backward linkages of an assailant arrested in connection with the murder of Jagdeep Mola, arrested a second assailant on Friday.

He has been identified as Arashdeep Singh Arash, a resident of Tarn Taran’s Bath village. The arrest was made possible by information given by the first assailant, Rahul Singh, who was arrested in May, said AGTF sources.

The two men allegedly shot Jagdeep Singh Mola dead in broad daylight near the local Darbar Sahib in March 2025.

They reportedly have criminal backgrounds and are facing charges extortion and attempt to murder, among other cases.
