The Tribune Healthcare Awards-2024: 21 professionals honoured for their contributions in healthcare sector
The Tribune today organised ‘The Tribune Health Care Awards-2024’ to honour eminent medical professionals and hospitals at Hotel Nirvana in Ludhiana. Hampton Sky Realty Limited was the title sponsor and Kalyan Hospital, Ludhiana, and Cosmetic 10 Clinic were the co-sponsors.
As many as 21 eminent personalities from different walks of life were honoured for their contributions and achievements in their respective fields. While Dr Bishav Mohan was the special guest, Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. The Health Minister was welcomed by Amit Sharma, General Manager, The Tribune and Associate Editor Sanjeev Bariana.
Dr Balbir Singh lauded the contribution of doctors in society and urged them to visit government hospitals to extend their services. He said more than 2.5 crore people had visited Aam Aadmi Clinics (mohalla clinics) in the state for treatment.
Krishna Pran Breast Cancer Care Charitable Trust was awarded for excellence in charitable work in cancer care, Kalyan Hospital for excellence in ortho and spine surgery, Cosmetic 10 Clinic for excellence in skin care, Amandeep Group of Hospitals for pioneering robotic joint replacement and excellence in the field of plastic reconstructive and microvascular surgery, Atharvayurveda Healthcare Private Limited for treatment in diabetes reversal management, Rana Hospital for Piles Treatment and Ayurvedic Bawa Clinic for excellence in ayurveda.
Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College and Hospital was awarded trusted dental college and hospital of the region, Carebest Super Speciality Hospital, Jalandhar, for excellence in cardiology, Chand Vascular & Diabetic Foot Clinic for vascular and endovascular surgery, City Hospital, Barnala, got trusted hospital award, Dev Hospital for excellence in maternal and trauma care, Dr Grover’s Dental and Implant Centre bagged leading dentist and dental implantologist award, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, was awarded for excellence in neurosurgery, Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Charitable Hospital Society was awarded preferred charitable hospital award, Jammu Hospital, Jalandhar, for excellence in bariatric surgery, Mohandai Oswal Hospital for outstanding contribution in medical and healthcare, Thind Eye Hospital, Jalandhar, for pioneering excellence in ophthalmology. Dr Mohan was awarded with most trusted cardiologist award.
Congratulating the awardees, the Health Minister said the The Tribune was continuing with the legacy of true journalism. “Ludhiana is my alma mater as I did my MBBS and further studies from here. Attending the Healthcare Awards in Ludhiana is like homecoming for me,” he said.
