The Sarai Amanat Khan police headed by ASI Satpal arrested three persons from the forests near Bhuse village and recovered 100 gm of heroin and drug money worth Rs 1.8 lakh on Wednesday. SSP Abhimanyu Rana informed here today that the accused have been identified as Kulwinder Singh Guggu of Chahal, Shamsher Singh Shera of Miran Kot and Gurpreet Singh Gopi of Muhalla Navin Abadi, Attari. The accused have been booked under section 21-C, 27-A, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act.

Another report said the BSF recovered two foreign-made pistols and four magazines from BOP (Border Outpost) Rattoke. The Khemkaran police registered a case under section 25 (6), (7), 54 and 59 of the Arms Act in this regard. ASI Heeera Singh said after registering a case, further proceedings have been initiated.
