Vajra Corps is all set to celebrate Vijay Diwas by showcasing ‘Weapon and Equipment Display’, a cultural extravaganza, movie clip and military campaigns, showcasing the rich heritage of the Indian Army, including the Battle of Saragarhi. A fusion band concert and other events have been lined up from December 13 to 15 in the holy city to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice.

Vijay Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the victory of the Indian Army in the 1971 war against Pakistan which led to the liberation of Bangladesh. A spectacular military weapon and equipment display, followed by a cultural evening, will commemorate Vijay Diwas, marking the 53rd anniversary of the victory in the 1971 war here.

The event, part of the “Know Your Army” initiative, aims to showcase the might and technological advancements of the Indian Army, while promoting national pride and patriotism. The display will feature a range of military hardware, including artillery guns, tanks and state-of-the-art equipment with the latest technology.
