With three more deaths in the district due to Covid-19, the toll has reached 443 on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Gurmohan Singh (55) of Davindra Nagar, Sulakhan Singh (83) of Ram Nagar Colony and Kiran Kumari (50) of Majitha Avenue (Chheharta).

The health authorities also reported 41 new positive cases with which the total count has reached 11,669. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
