Amritsar: The police have arrested three persons with an illegal weapon. The suspects have been identified as Sukhpreet Singh of Thathia village, Karanbir Singh of Bhinder village and Jashanpreet Singh of Arjan Manga village. According to information, they could not produce any document or licence regarding the weapon. Sukhdev Singh, SHO, Khilchian police station, said the suspects were travelling in a car when they were intercepted near Bhinder village. He said during a checking, the police recovered a .32 bore countrymade pistol from the car. A case under Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered.
