Two booked on charge of sodomy

A horrifying case of sodomy has been reported from a village falling under the Chabal police station. A teenage was sodomised and a video of the incident was uploaded on social media.

SHO Ashok Meena said on Friday that the crime was committed on April 21. He said the police information about the incident from social media. He said on statement of the victim’s mother, Jashanpreet Singh and Gurman Singh, both residents of Khairdinke village were booked in this connection. He said the accused took the victim to a house and committed the crime. They also captured the incident in a video, he said. The SHO said a case under Sections 4/14 of the POCSO Act and 3 (5) of the BNS was registered against the accused. The two accused were on the run, the SHO said.
